Device Firmware Updates - DNS v5
Doric Lenses provide different electronics device based on micro-controllers or FPGA that can be updated via firmware updates to profit of all new features we add to software.
It is important to verify that your hardware model is compatible with firmware update. In doubt, please contact our technical support.
IMPORTANT NOTE :
- Please read the procedure before to proceed with firmware update.
- It is highly recommended to use a computer running on Windows 10 to perform firmware updates.
- It is mandatory to have only 1 Doric device connected to the computer when doing firmware update to avoid possible conflict when erasing device programming.
- First step is to install latest version of Doric Neuroscience Studio available here (Doric Neuroscience Studio).

Firmware update is a critical operation, as it could make the device unusable if the programming is not done correctly.
