2-color fluorescence microscope
2-color microscopy systems simultaneously record the fluorescence of red and green fluorescent markers or genetically encoded calcium indicators (GECI). They are used to record the neuronal activity of two cell populations labeled with a different tag, e. g., GCaMP, RCaMP, or the same cell populations marked with two indicators within the same brain region.
