In fiber photometry experiments, fluorescent sensors are used to monitor neurotransmitter levels or neural activity. Doric Rotary Fluorescence Mini Cube (RFMC) system combines excitation lights, high-sensitivity detectors, all filtering and coupling optics embedded into the rotor of an assisted electrical rotary-joint. This system enable fiber photometry recording on freely moving animals with no artifacts from optical fiber rotary-joint.
