- 8 Analog Input + 8 Analog Output Ports
These ports generate and receive sine waves, supporting demodulated signal recording. They can handle:- Up to 4 two-color Basic photometry FMC cubes, or
- Up to 8 single-color Basic photometry FMC cubes.
- Up to 2 bundle Fiber Photometry systems
- 32 Digital I/O Ports (8 onboard + 24 expandable)
These TTL-compatible ports support de-interleaved signal recording and can be used simultaneously for closed-loop experiments with external devices such as:- Doric Behavior Camera
- CamLoop Camera for real-time animal tracking and closed-loop optogenetics
- Optogenetic light sources (LED and laser drivers)
- Non-Doric TTL-controlled devices such as operant conditioning chambers and other behavioral equipment
- 2 HDMI Ephys Ports
High-speed connections supporting:- Up to 2 wireless photometry system base station, each supporting 4 wireless headstages (8 heastages in total)
- Electrophysiology headstages for either EEG, LFP or multi-channel recordings
- 1 HDMI Miniscope Port
This ports can acquire data from Doric eFocus Miniscopes (either single-color or single-color plus optogenetics miniscope body)
Key benefits of using a NC500 console:
- Precise synchronization: All data streams are synchronized down to the millisecond.
- All-in-one view: Monitor and manage all experimental data in a single software interface
- One file, all data: All modalities are saved together in one HDF5 file for easier analysis.
- Cost-effective: A single console can handle many different experiments.
