Wireless Fiber Photometry Headstage
-
The wireless fiber photometry headstage is a lightweight, wearable device that wirelessly transmits data from its low-consumption photodetector. It is designed for single-site recordings of green or red indicators with two excitations; isosbestic (405 or 415 nm) and functional (470 or 560 nm). The headstage transmits data in real-time to the base station, at up to 2 meters away. The standard version includes a 1.2 grams rechargeable battery that lasts up to 1.5 hours and is compatible with 2.5 mm ferrules cannulas.
In addition to the fiber photometry recording, the headstage provides information on the acceleration with an embedded inertial measurement unit (IMU). -
