Isosbestic LED
Isosbestic LED
This isosbestic LED (ILED) can be swapped to change the isosbestic excitation of an existing integrated Fluorescence Mini Cube (ilFMC-G3) or the Rotary Bundle-imaging Fluorescence Mini Cube (RBFMC-G2), respectively. The ILED provides a simple solution to expand to new biosensors. The iLED comes in four possible options: 405 nm, 415 nm, 425 nm, and 440nm. Each ILED comes with a bandpass filter that narrows the excitation wavelength to a ~10nm bandwidth.

All 3rd generation integrated fluorescence mini cubes (ilFMC-G3) since April 2025 include optics that are compatible with a removable isosbestic LED. As are all RBFMC-G2 since March 2026.
