8 ports Bundle-imaging Fluorescence Mini Cubes - GCaMP, Red Fluorophore, Blue and Red Optogenetics (OBSOLETE)

-
Performing fiber photometry on a large number of sites and animals can be inconvenient due to the large number of photoreceivers and patch cords required. By bundling the connective patch cords together and using a camera, it is possible to measure a great number of sites or animals at once. The Bundle-imaging Fluorescence Mini Cube is able to perform such measurements. This is done by imaging a fiber bundle onto a camera using a microscope objective. These otherwise function as any fluorescence mini cube.
- The excitation ports have integrated LED light sources; UV, blue and yellow excitations.
- The detector ports come with integrated CMOS sensors; green and red emission.
- Combines GCaMP's calcium dependant signal with the calcium independant (isosbestic) reference.
- Optogenetics port for blue 450 nm laser (ChR2) is connectorized with FC/PC receptacle.
- Optogenetics port for red 638 nm laser (Chrimson, Jaws) is connectorized with FC/PC receptacle.
- To accomodate large fiber bundles, an SMA fiber optic receptacle is used on the sample port.
- Each excitation source should be interleaved and synchronized with the camera acquisition
