FluoPulse™ Calibration Sample

The FluoPulse™ Calibration Sample is a solid fluorescence lifetime sample fix in a blackbox and greatly simplifies and streamlines the calibration processed (taking Instrument Response function (IRF) when using the FluoPulse™ system.

Compared to using the liquid solutions of either fluoresceine or coumarine to calibration the system, which requires fresh preperations at several different concentration, this solid sample greatly save time, avoids tedious preperations and mistakes, and will provide more consistent calibration between days.

The FluoPulse™ Calibration Sample provide a simple rotational mechanism to approach or retract the patch cord towards the sample, allows for rapid signal intensity ajustement. This mechanism provides a much simpler solution to match the signal amplitude of the animal signal compared to carefully adjusting the concentration of the liquid samples. In addition, by recording the distance in millimeters, users can much more easily track the calibration settings used during experiment, which is ideal for troubleshooting and experiment replication.

Currently, the sample is only available in the green excitation spectrum.
