Fiber-optic Rotary Joints
Fiber photometry, neuronal imaging, and optogenetics experiments with freely behaving tethered animals require a stable light transfer to and from the brain of animals. Fiber-optic Rotary Joints help preserve the optical fiber connection while minimizing light fluctuations during rotations. The nomenclature used for our rotary joints is FRJ m X n where m and n represent the number of the fibers on the fixed and rotating side respectively.
