Wireless Fiber Photometry Headstage
-
The wireless fiber photometry headstage is a lightweight, wearable device that wirelessly transmits data from its low-consumption photodetector. It is designed for single-site recordings of green or red indicators with two excitations; isosbestic (405 or 415 nm) and functional (470 or 560 nm). The headstage transmits data in real-time to the base station, at up to 2 meters away. The standard version includes a 0.8-1.55 grams rechargeable battery that lasts 1-4 hours* and is compatible with 2.5 mm ferrules cannulas.
In addition to the fiber photometry recording, the headstage provides information on the acceleration with an embedded inertial measurement unit (IMU).Battery A Battery B Battery file (@25% LED power) 4h 1.5h Battery file (@100% LED power) 2h 1h Headstage with battery 4.44 g 3.68 g - 25% LED Power: 405 nm @ 19 µW; 470nm @ 43 µW
